These movies manage to capture the spirit of Halloween in a way that has been unsurpassed by more modern films. Hocus Pocus (1993)

With witches, a living spellbook, bubbling black cauldrons, and a talking black cat, Hocus Pocus has all the makings of a great Halloween movie.

The Haunted Mansion (2003)

Sleepy Hollow (1999)
